Santa makes an early stop...
Since we will be in Oklahoma over the holidays we had to figure something out for our little family Christmas here. So, we came up with the plan to have Christmas tonight. But, how would we explain Santa coming to our house before everyone else?? Jason and I thought and planned for a few days. This was the plan. Talk to the girls about Santa being soooo busy and he knows we won't be home for Christmas. He will be coming to our house this evening. Maybe when we go out for dinner he will come??!! So off we went. Dinner at Babe's...Yummy! On our way home it was dark and we were scouting Santa and Rudolph. Jason and I kept saying "oh, I see something over there...is that Santa?" In comes yet another famous quote from Addison..."No guys...I am sorry, that is just an airplane!" What to do when your 4 year old out smarts you!? Geez! We made it home and Jason went in to see if Santa had come...if not, we would have to drive around some more. But, he had come! He ate our oreos and drank our milk. AND...left new bikes for the girls. They were super excited. Ava was so excited she couldn't even open the rest of her gifts...she was focused on the bike! Addison LOVED everything she opened. She would say " Oh, Mom this is just what I wanted!" Priceless! The smiles were plentiful and the thanks were many! On our special night we did have a conversation about what we are celebrating. Addison knew it is about baby Jesus' Birthday. They sang Happy Birthday last week at school. We are thankful for the many blessings He has bestowed upon our family and hope that we can teach the girls the love of Christ! Merry Christmas to all!

Sounds like an awesome Christmas to me! Avery said the same thing as Addison a few years ago (that's what I always wanted...about every present haha) It was so cute! I can just see Addy saying it. :)
I hope you guys have a great Christmas in Okla. too!
Too cute!!! I can just picture Addison saying all that stuff!! I can't wait to see the pictures.
